TRACIE MORLEY 

 

Tracie Morley has worked as a performer, model, choreographer, TV presenter, resident director and dance captain in musical theatre, film, television, commercials, corporate events and fashion, establishing herself as a diversely skilled creative artist.


As a performer she has appeared in The Boy from OZ with Hugh Jackman Australian Tour, Dirty Dancing Australia and New Zealand Tour, The Candy Man, Oh! What a Night Australian tour, Singin' In The Rain Australian/Asian Tour, Sisterella, West Side Story Australian and New Zealand Tour, My Fair Lady Australian Tour, The Wizard of Oz Australain Tour, Carmen, Faust, Iolanthe, Tales Of Hoffman, Don Quixote and Don Giovanni to name a few.  She also appeared in Stars Of Illusion for the Sydney Festival, Combat For What with The Moving Feats Contemporary Dance Company and Wrung Out with Glynn Nicholas.


Tracie was Dance Captain on IMG's My Fair Lady and Singin' In The Rain, resident choreographer on Sisterella, and resident director/resident choreographer on Oh! What a Night,  also with Hugh Jackman in the Arena Spectacular The Boy From Oz as assistant to the choreographer, dance captain and performer throughout the Australian Tour.
She played the featured role of Travesty in Baz Luhrmann's movie Moulin Rouge, on which she also worked as Dance Captain with choreographer John O'Connell, was Dein Perry's assistant on his feature film Bootmen. She also worked as assistant to the choreographer on the film South Pacific starring Glenn Close and Harry Connick Jnr shot in Australia and New York, and on the motion-capture feature film Happy Feet with George Miller for Warners/Kennedy-Miller.


Tracie also appeared on television for the Seven network as a presenter and model on the game show Man O Man.
Other choreographic work includes the film Danny Deckchair with Miranda Otto and Rhyss Ifans. Tracie also choreographed the series Love Bites for FOX TV.
